Drone War. It became known what nets the Armed Forces of Ukraine are purchasing for protective corridors.

The Armed Forces of Ukraine clarified that the purchase of nets for anti-drone corridors is funded by resources within the nomenclature of engineering troops. This allows for standardized and verified materials, including various types of durable nets and other materials. This is mentioned in the article 'Life Corridors. The Armed Forces are equipping anti-drone tunnels: how it works' on the 'Glavkom' portal.
The use of nets is becoming increasingly popular among military personnel, volunteers, and individual units participating in the protection of equipment and other objects. Even old fishing nets are being utilized, which can be useful at the front line.
According to one of the soldiers from the 152nd brigade, the nets help protect the bunkers from the penetration of FPV drones inside. However, they are not an effective protection against mass attacks.
Cost and Effectiveness of Nets
The cost of nets for anti-drone corridors can vary: from 143 UAH per m² for simple nets to 730 UAH per m² for sandwich nets. Such materials are used for safeguarding various objects from drones at the front line.
Representatives of the Armed Forces explained that protective nets are an effective means of protecting military equipment. Recently, there was also a strike by the Armed Forces on a Russian military-industrial complex site as part of measures to reduce the potential of Russian air defense.
The Ukrainian Armed Forces are using nets for anti-drone corridors to protect equipment and objects from attacks. These materials allow for the creation of reliable barriers against drones and have already found wide application among military personnel and volunteers. At the same Time, it is important to understand that nets are not an appropriate defense against mass attacks, but they are an effective measure to protect military equipment at the front. A recent step in this direction was the Armed Forces' strike on a Russian military-industrial complex site as part of a strategy to reduce the potential of Russian air defense.
