Drivers reminded of the conditions and cost of storing license plates at the Ministry of Internal Affairs.

The Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine explained how drivers can leave their license plates for storage.

For many, a car has become not just a means of transportation, but an important part of their personality and status. Therefore, car license plates are of great importance. They can have a special number combination, a memorable date, or the owner's initials. But when there is a need to sell or give up a car, you can keep your license plates. There is a service for storing license plates for this purpose.

"Are you selling or scrapping a vehicle but want to keep the license plates? You can use the license plate storage service to reassign them to another car in the future," reports the Ministry of Internal Affairs.

To receive this service, you need to:

• inform the administrator about the desire to keep the plates;
• fill out an application;
• pay the cost of storage.

The cost of this service is 10.8 hryvnias per day, and the storage period is determined by the client. There is also the possibility to extend the storage period at the service center or through the Driver's Cabinet on the Internet.
