Drivers clarified the situation with 'new fines' for first aid kits and fire extinguishers.

Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs denies the news about fines for the absence of a first aid kit in the car
First Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine Oleksiy Biloshytskyi denied the widespread recent disinformation regarding the introduction of new fines for the absence of a first aid kit, fire extinguisher, or emergency stop sign in vehicles.
'No new fines for a first aid kit or fire extinguisher - this is fake!', - Biloshytskyi categorically stated, commenting on the disinformation circulating among drivers.
According to the official, the requirements for equipping vehicles have remained unchanged for many years and are clearly stated in the Traffic Rules.
According to the current regulations, a car must have a first aid kit with the appropriate marking for the type of vehicle, an emergency stop sign or a flashing red light that meets the standards, as well as a functioning fire extinguisher.
Requirements apply to various categories of vehicles
Biloshytskyi emphasized that these requirements apply to most categories of vehicles, including motorcycles with sidecars, passenger and cargo cars, buses, minibusses, wheeled tractors, etc.
'Similarly, fines provided for by the Code of Ukraine on Administrative Offenses for possible violations in this regard have not changed for several years,' - emphasized the Deputy Minister.
