The concert tour 'Green Gray' is dedicated to Ukraine

The announcement of the concert tour of the famous Ukrainian band 'Green Gray', which actively Ukrainianizes its repertoire and presents new patriotic songs, has sparked various reactions in Ukrainian society. This was reported by 'Glavcom' referencing a post from journalist Ruslan Kukharchuk.

Kukharchuk noted the creative reinterpretation of 'Green Gray' and their attempt to 'rethink Ukrainian identity' and solidify the status of 'active veterans of Ukrainian rock'. He reminded that the band not only translates its previous hits into Ukrainian, such as 'Emigrant' and 'Under the Rain', but also creates new songs that reflect modern realities.

However, according to the journalist, each announcement of the 'Green Gray' concert is inevitably accompanied by a wave of criticism and accusations. Some Ukrainians cannot forgive the band for their Russian-speaking past and participation in the propaganda concerts of politicians who do not have wide support in society.

Kukharchuk called for forgiveness and support for those musicians who remain Ukrainians and continue to create. 'Here, in this country, there are hardly anyone left. Mostly, they have already left or are planning to leave, have died or will die. Or simply broken down and stopped. Why hate those who are still here and who create? We need love. Love for all our own. Love, forgiveness, and support,' Kukharchuk noted.

On ticket sale platforms for 'Green Gray' concerts, it is emphasized that all songs at the concert will be performed in Ukrainian, and there will also be a fundraising for the support of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

It is reminded that the band 'Green Gray' was founded in the spring of 1993 in Kyiv, and their work has a significant impact on the Ukrainian music scene.
