According to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the occupiers suffered losses as of August 26, 2024.

Among Russia's losses in the war with Ukraine as of August 26 are:
- personnel - about 608820 (+1140) people,
- tanks - 8551 (+4) units,
- armored fighting vehicles - 16648 (+17) units,
- artillery systems - 17443 (+47) units,
- MLRS - 1172 (+1) units,
- air defense systems - 937 (+1) units,
- aircraft - 367 (+0) units,
- helicopters - 328 (+0) units,
- operational-tactical UAVs - 14134 (+39) units,
- cruise missiles - 2444 (+0) units,
- ships / boats - 28 (+0) units,
- submarines - 1 (+0) unit,
- automotive equipment and tankers - 23555 (+80) units,
- special equipment - 2941 (+13) units.
Occupiers' fleet activity as of August 26:
- In the Black Sea, four enemy ships, which are carriers of "Kalibr" cruise missiles with a total salvo of up to 28 missiles.
- No enemy ships in the Sea of Azov.
- In the Mediterranean Sea, three enemy ships, no carriers of "Kalibr" cruise missiles.
During the last day, the following entered the Black Sea through the Kerch Strait:
- three vessels, one of which continued towards the Bosporus Strait;
- 12 vessels to the Sea of Azov, six of which were moving from the Bosporus Strait.
Currently, it is the 915th day of the full-scale war in Ukraine.
