Commemoration of the Memory of Oleksandr Dyachyshyn
Every day at 9 a.m., Ukrainians honor the memory of all those whose lives were taken by the Russo-Ukrainian war. Today, we remember Oleksandr Dyachyshyn.
On March 12, 2025, near the village of Synelnykove in the Chuhuiv district of Kharkiv Oblast, sergeant Oleksandr Dyachyshyn was killed, an operator of the military unit A 4395 drone aviation unit. He was only 26 years old. The tragic loss was reported by the sister of the fallen hero, as stated by
“Glavkom”.
Oleksandr Dyachyshyn was born on December 29, 1998, in the village of Bortnyky in the Tulchyn district of Vinnytsia Oblast. There he spent his childhood, and the first years of his education. Later, he continued his studies at the Malokryshlynetska school and the Tulchyn military-physical education lyceum.
After the lyceum, Oleksandr enrolled at the Hetman Petro Sahaidachnyi National Ground Forces Academy in Lviv, where he received the rank of junior sergeant. After studying, he served in a military unit in Kharkiv Oblast.
Struggle for Freedom
With the onset of the full-scale invasion, Oleksandr moved with his unit to Slavuta in the Khmelnytskyi Oblast. Since November 2024, he took an active part in combat operations in the Kharkiv direction, serving as a drone operator and holding the rank of sergeant.
Oleksandr's life was cut short on March 12, 2025, near the village of Synelnykove in Kharkiv Oblast as a result of an enemy FPV drone attack.
The farewell to the Hero took place in the village of Nahirne, where family, friends, comrades, and clergy gathered to pay their last respects to the defender.
On the website of the President of Ukraine, a petition is ongoing to posthumously confer the honorary title of Hero of Ukraine to Oleksandr Mykhailovych Dyachyshyn. The petition can be signed via the link.
“Glavkom”
joins in a moment of silence. We honor the memory of all Ukrainians who died in the struggle for their homeland. We remember those killed by Russian invaders, lighting candles in their memory and bowing our heads in mourning during the nationwide moment of silence, honoring the bright memory of citizens of Ukraine who gave their lives for the freedom and independence of the state: all military personnel, civilians, and children, all who died in the fight against Russian occupiers and as a result of the enemy's attack on Ukrainian cities and villages.
Oleksandr Dyachyshyn became one of the many heroes who gave their lives for their country in the fight against the invaders. His courage and selflessness deserve the respect and memory of all citizens of Ukraine.
