Today, July 1, 2025, it became known that Colonel Serhiy Zakharevich, commander of the 110th Separate Mechanized Brigade, has died. This tragic news was confirmed by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky, and Brigadier General Serhiy Sobko, reports 'Glavkom'.

The death of Colonel Zakharevich caused deep mourning within the military leadership. In their statement, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine described him as an officer of honor and a leader respected by his subordinates. They noted that he was a representative of a new generation of Ukrainian officers who grew up in combat and displayed examples of courage and military leadership.
