The Armed Forces of Ukraine destroyed an occupier who was a champion of Russia in rowing.


Ukrainian defense forces reported the destruction of the Russian rower Volodymyr Zaplatnikov. He is considered a well-known figure in his sport. Zaplatnikov was born in 1986 and had significant experience in kayaking and canoeing. He was even a champion of Russia and a winner of national championships and Spartakiads. Zaplatnikov will be buried today in the city of Sal'sk, located in the Rostov region of the Russian Federation.
It has also been noted that in the Belgorod region, military forces eliminated football player Roman Markov. He was only 19 years old but already had great potential in football. Markov was born in the Ukrainian city of Kerch and started practicing this sport at the age of 5. Alarm reports about his death appeared in January 2025, but the exact circumstances of his demise remain unknown.
Moreover, there are reports of the elimination of the occupier Oleksandr Rudy in the Kursk region. Rudy was a well-known figure in the world of Shotokan karate and won numerous titles, including four-Time European champion and two-time world champion. He was also awarded the title of 'International Class Sports Master'. Details regarding the time and place of Rudy's death are not yet known, possibly because it happened in the territory of the Kursk region.
Among Ukrainian soldiers, they are pleased with their success against Russian aggressors. Evidence of this is the tournament held in Maykop in memory of Oleksandr Rudy, where Russia acknowledged for the first time that the elimination took place on the territory of Kursk region.
