On Tuesday, June 3, People's Artist of the Moldavian SSR and the USSR, renowned composer Yevgeny Doga, passed away at the age of 88. This information was reported by the Transnistrian TV channel 'TSV', according to 'Glavkom'.Yevgeny Doga was included in the list of the 100 best composers of the 20th century according to UNESCO. Composer's Biography
Yevgeny Doga was born on March 1, 1937, and graduated from the Chișinău Conservatory in 1960. Despite the paralysis of his left hand, he continued to actively compose music.In addition to his composition activities, Doga was a teacher of music theory and worked in the USSR awards committee. After the collapse of the USSR, he lived permanently in Chișinău and supported Ukraine.Creative Legacy
Some of Yevgeny Doga's most famous works include waltzes from the films 'My Gentle and Tender Beast' and 'Anna Pavlova', as well as music for the film 'The Camp Goes to Heaven.'
