Reuters reported how Trump relaxed pressure on Russia.

Several U.S. national security agencies have ceased their operations in the fight against Russia's hybrid warfare. This concerns countering sabotage, disinformation, and cyberattacks. American efforts were halted after President Donald Trump's initiative to end the war in Ukraine.
At least seven national security agencies were involved in countering Russian actions, collaborating with European allies to monitor diversions aimed at Europe and the U.S. However, after Trump came to power, these efforts significantly diminished. Regular meetings of the National Security Council with European officials became erratic, and official coordination between American agencies ceased.
As for whether Trump ordered the complete cessation of work against the Russian campaign, it is currently unknown. Some officials have expressed concern that the new administration may deprioritize this issue.
