Ukraine is ready for a new round of negotiations with Russia - Foreign Minister
The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, Andriy Sybiha, announced the country's readiness to conduct the next round of negotiations with the Russian Federation. In an interview with the French publication Liberation, the Ukrainian diplomat emphasized Kyiv's desire to organize such meetings as soon as possible. The Ukrainian side is awaiting the Kremlin's position on the ceasefire while simultaneously preparing its own proposals on this matter.
'We are expecting their vision of a ceasefire and will provide them with ours. This will be one of the key topics for discussion at the next meeting... We want the negotiation process to move forward, and these meetings to take place as soon as possible,' Sybiha said.
The head of the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry emphasized that Kyiv demonstrates its readiness for dialogue but insists on clear conditions and international support for the negotiation process. 'No compromises regarding territorial integrity and sovereignty, Ukraine will never recognize temporarily occupied territories as Russian, we will not accept restrictions on our defense capability or third countries' veto rights on our choice of alliances and unions,' the minister emphasized.
