Military ID: how to store it properly and what threatens conscripts for its loss.

In the Donetsk Regional Territorial Recruitment and Social Support Center, they told about the rules for replacing a military ID in Ukraine. According to the 'Regulations on the Military ID of Persons of the Private, Sergeant, and Senior Staff,' servicemen bear personal responsibility for preserving the information in the ID.
Holders of military IDs can receive a new document if their ID has become unusable, was destroyed or lost, or in case of a change of personal data. The procedure begins with the submission of a report or application to the head of the respective center and support.
In case of loss of the ID, servicemen must immediately inform their commander and contact the center at the place of registration, explaining the circumstances of the loss. To obtain a new document due to a change of surname, first name, or patronymic, a new citizen passport must be presented.
However, if the ID was lost, the procedure becomes more complicated and involves a service investigation. To obtain a new document, it is necessary to submit an application, passport, 3x4 cm photo, damaged document or its remnants, and an extract from the order on the results of the investigation.
For intentional damage or negligent storage of the military ID, which led to its loss, administrative liability is provided in accordance with Article 211 of the Code of Ukraine on Administrative Offenses.
